CBI Reviewed

During Friday night services on April 23, 2011, CBI was visited by two contributers to the blog Beliefnet.com, described on Wikipedia as "a large multi-faith e-community that aims to provide a free forum for religious information and inspiration, spiritual tools, and discussions and dialogue groups."

The bloggers write a weekly "Review" called "Year of Sundays." It is an irreverent, slightly racy and highly personal look at their own experiences in various houses of worship.

Here is what they each wrote about their visit to Congregation Beth Israel:

"As far as I'm concerned, Judaism is what religion is supposed to sound and feel and taste like and I'll be honest: I wish I could be a Jew. It has everything I want - a strong sense of community and culture, none of the answers, all of the questions and ridiculously good deli meat. . ."
