Annual WRJ/Beth Israel Sisterhood Shabbat & YES Fund Dinner
The YES Fund was developed to support the ideals of Reform Judaism and to ensure its future. This special Fund supports our youth in NFTY and other youth programs; our rabbinic and cantorial students with scholarships; camps in the former Soviet Union; programming in Israel for mothers and daughters to learn about Judaism; pre-school programs in eastern Europe; materials and resources for local sisterhoods; support for HUC-JIR's student Pesach program to bring Pesach to the FSU; advancement of equal rights for women in Israel, and much more.

Cooks & Bakers needed for 2nd Annual Klezmer Brunch Be a part of our cooking team to create kugels and blintze casseroles as part of the menu for our brunch. Cooks will meet in Blumauer kitchen at 9am on Feb. 26th. We will also need bakers for cookies, etc. for our Klezmer Brunch on February 26th. . You'll join a group of dynamic women at all ages and stages of life that come together for fun and friendship, spiritual growth and learning, and service and support of our synagogue and community.
Over the summer a committee of Sisterhood members met to review and revise the bylaws. These potential revisions will be discussed at our next board meeting on Thursday, October 6. Copies of the bylaws and the proposed revisions are available in the CBI office or can be downloaded here for any member who wishes to review them. Comments can be made via email to Leslie Geller at lesliejgeller@gmail.com or by attending the October board meeting (6:30 PM, Shirley and Herbert Semler Board Room). The Sisterhood Board will vote on the proposed revisions at the November 3 board meeting.
