Operating under Portland’s largest Reform synagogue, JND creates opportunities for the young adults of Portland’s Jewish community to come together in a relaxed and open environment. Offering both spiritual and social events, JND is the next big thing in the Portland Jewish scene.

Ronald McDonald House

JND will be planning, purchasing, preparing, and providing a meal for families at the Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald house provides housing for families who have children getting treatment at area hospitals. This is a very meaningful mitzvah! Portland Tu B’Shevat Tree Planting: New Year of Trees

On February 12, 2012 we will plant fruit trees in Kenton Community Garden in order to beautify and improve the resident’s quality of life.  In the future these same trees will provide local residents with a new, sustainable and important food source.

Avast, ye Matey!  Are ye prepared to be dazzled by the finest schpiel that ever set sail from Beth Israel?  Dust off yer peg leg, adjust yer eye patch, wake up the parrot and join us for a salty romp through the Megillah, featuring musical offering based on beloved Gilbert & Sullivan favorites.

Purim service and Megillah reading followed by the show herself.  Put yerself in a piratical mood and celebrate Purim with us.
