We encourage Congregation members and their preschool-aged children to participate in a variety of enrichment activities outside of the preschool curriculum, such as our Temple Tots program, which provides unstructured active play for infants and toddlers.
There is a monthly Tot Shabbat on the second Friday evening of the month, followed by a special Tot Oneg Shabbat. A Family Shabbat Service for families with school-age children is also on the second Friday evening of each month. Holiday celebrations include Sukkot, Simchat Torah, a Chanukah party, a Purim carnival and activities during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
We also provide many resources specific to Jewish parenting. We hold convenient adult education workshops on parenting skills with specific emphasis on parenting Jewish preschoolers.
Families throughout the community are encouraged to participate in a variety of enrichment activities designed especially for children ages 0-5, including our monthly Tot Shabbat services. Held on the first Saturday at 9:30 a.m., these special services include singing, stories, snacks and a craft project. Family simchas such as baby/child naming may be scheduled during Tot Shabbat services.
