Youth Programs

PARTY (Portland Area Reform Temple Youth)

"Portland Area Reform Temple Youth" (PARTY) is CBI's high school youth group. Participation gives high school students a chance to meet and socialize with other Jewish teenagers. The youth group sponsors programs involving social enrichment, worship and social action events. PARTY is the local chapter of the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) and belongs to the NFTY Northwest Region.

Dor Hadash is our youth group for 6th - 8th grade members. Monthly events allow them to share fun and educational activities with their Jewish peers outside the classroom.

PLURALISM – KOL YEHUDIM - כל יהודים
The acceptance and encouragement of alternate modes of Jewish experience;

SELF – TIKKUN MIDDOT - תיקון מידות
The understanding that we are to be a light unto the nations by fostering an environment where every individual can meet and exceed their potential as Jews and citizens of the world;
