This website will ALWAYS be your source for the most accurate, up-to-date information about upcoming High Holidays observances, and, as the holidays approach, will include detailed schedules of services, as well as information for guests of Congregation Beth Israel, about honoring loved ones in our Book of Remembrance, our annual Robert Peltz (z’l) High Holidays Funds for Food Drive, parking, and more.
If you have High Holidays-related questions, please reach out to us via email or by calling our Main Office at (503) 222-1069.

As has been the case since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been in close communication with the Oregon Health Authority, other Faith Institutions nationally and locally, and health care professionals in our community. We have been guided by our Jewish responsibilities to preserve life (Pikuach Nefesh), and to serve the spiritual, emotional, educational and communal needs of our congregation (Avodah). For the High Holidays, as with all our programming, CBI’s health and safety protocols will continue to reflect these values and to evolve with our understanding of best practices in response to ever-changing conditions. This website will continue to be your post up-to-date source for this information. |
