Customs, Cures and Concoctions:  A Look at Jewish Folk Medicine

Jewish tradition is rich with traditions of alternative medicine including amulets, incantations and folk medicine.  Most of these are highly controversial in today’s world.  We will explore examples of the weird and wacky that comprise Jewish folk healing which predated modern medicine.  So, take two cloves of garlic and call me in the morning.
