We are asking you to join us online for Shabbat services rather than coming in-person. No on-campus services will be offered this week.
In honor of Jewish Disabilities Awareness month, the CBI community welcomes actress, singer, composer, and longtime disability advocate Anita Hollander as our Shabbat guest speaker. In addition to numerous roles on stage and television, Hollander is National Chair of SAG-AFTRA Performers With Disabilities Committee, as well as Vice Chair of SAG-AFTRA National Diversity Committee, and a member of the Actors Equity/Broadway League Diversity Coalition. A founding member of Inclusion in the Arts’ project DEAL (Disability in Entertainment & Arts Link), she adjudicates for the ReelAbilities Film Festival and VSA Arts Playwright Discovery Program. She served as a National Co-chair of the I AM PWD Campaign (Inclusion in the Arts & Media of People With Disabilities) and maintains a Watchdog Report of disability activity in film, television, and theatre.
The information on how to join this, including how to watch and participate, as well as information on all other events, can be found here.
