Masking and Vaccination Policies at CBI

As has been the case since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been in close communication with the Oregon Health Authority, other Faith Institutions nationally and locally, and health care professionals in our community.  Following the lead of these authorities, masks are optional–but certainly welcome–for all who join us for the High Holidays this year.

We continue to strongly encourage members of our community, and of the greater Portland community, to be fully vaccinated.

On the CBI Campus

We look forward to seeing you on our historic campus, and to holding High Holidays services in our Main Sanctuary for the first time since 2019. Please remember:

  • Doors will open one-half hour before services

  • Large backpacks, bags, purses and/or packages ARE NOT ALLOWED in the Main Sanctuary

  • Parking near CBI is ALWAYS difficult. Please consider carpooling, taking public transportation, or using a ride-share service

  • If you have questions or concerns, please stop by our clearly-marked welcome table, located in the lobby of our Main Sanctuary
