Chanukah 5787
Friday, December 4 - Saturday, December 12
As the eight nights of Chanukah approach, we are so grateful for the brightness our community brings to one another throughout the year, and for opportunities to connect, celebrate, and shine together.
Our CBI calendar is full of opportunities to sparkle, sizzle, and otherwise enjoy the holiday, all of which are detailed below.

Chanukah Tot Shabbat
Saturday, December 5, 9:00 AM
Tot Shabbat with a seasonal twist: stories, songs, sweetness, and silliness that will have little ones and grownups alike grinning (and maybe even dancing like dreidels).
Omek Latke-Palooza
Saturday, December 5, 5:00 PM
$10; click to RSVP
The holiday sizzles as Omek—a CBI community for Jews in their 20s and 30s—gathers for a lesson in latke making from Cantor Emerita Ida Rae Cahana. There’s no way we’ll settle the sour cream vs. applesauce debate once and for all, but we’ll have a great evening together trying.

Chanukah lasts for eight nights, but today is the day you get to celebrate with Religious School! CBI’s Lower Elementary (pre-k through second grade) students will spend their Sunday exploring different stations for hands on Chanukah learning and fun!
