The Jewish Women’s Round Table will present the Song of Miriam Awards Brunch on Sunday, June 14th. The Song of Miriam Awards honor women who volunteer their time and energy to ensure the continuity and vibrancy of Jewish communities.
Honorees are nominated by Jewish organizations and congregations in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The women are recognized for their individual efforts and achievements in their volunteer activities and their dedication to Jewish life and values. This year, Ellen Zellinger will be honored for her dedication and exemplary efforts on behalf of WRJ/Beth Israel Sisterhood. And Libby Schwartz is being recognized for her volunteer activities on behalf of Congregation Beth Israel. Todah raba and mazal tov to both of them.
