WRJ/Beth Israel Sisterhood and CBI’s Social Action Committee are putting their values—and best handwriting to work—as part of the Religious Action Center (RAC)‘s Every Voice, Every Vote Campaign. As part of this nonpartisan effort to overcome barriers to voting that target Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, RAC are working in partnership with the Center for Common Ground’s Reclaim our Vote Campaign and others to send postcards to voters in states where there is a significant number of people of color and racial gaps in voter participation.
Participants (you don’t have to be a CBI member or a Sisterhood member to join in) meet up at CBI to write postcards together: we’ll provide cards, postage, addresses, and even scripts!
