What Every Jewish Person Should Know: A Panel on Genetics, Cancer Risk, and Support
Wednesday, August 19, 2026
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Join us on Wednesday, August 19 at 7PM at Congregation Beth Israel for an evening of education, empowerment, and community. We are proud to bring together an expert panel for an open, honest conversation about the health topics every Jewish individual should be talking about. Our speakers include an OB/GYN who is a breast cancer survivor, a internist/breast health expert, and a community member breast cancer survivor who has experienced firsthand the support organizations like Sharsheret provide. Our panelists will cover Jewish genetics and BRCA mutation risk, signs and symptoms of breast and ovarian cancer, the importance of screenings and early detection, and the free programs and resources Sharsheret offers to women, men, and families at every stage of their journey. Admission is free and all are welcome, but we do ask that you RSVP
Panel and supportive organizations will be present.
