Join us on Friday, August 28, as Congregation Beth Israel and Congregation Neveh Shalom come together for a joyful community Shabbat featuring beloved Jewish musician Rick Recht.
Expect an evening of spirited singing, meaningful connection, and the joy of two synagogue communities.
Want to really bring the ruach? We want that too! Join the evening’s pop up band or choir: no auditions or pressure, just an unforgettable Shabbat.
A few things to remember:
- Congregation Neveh Shalom is located at 2900 SW Peaceful Lane
- This service starts at 6:15 PM rather than at CBI’s 6:00 PM.
- Congregation Beth Israel’s kaddish list will not be read on Friday night; if you are observing a yahrzeit this week, please join us for Shabbat Morning Service when we will read our list. We also invite you to reach out with us if you have questions or need to adjust your household’s observance.

Please note: because we’ll all be signing along and bringing our all to this co-hosted service at Neveh Shalom, there will be NO Shabbat Evening Service on the CBI campus on Friday, August 28.
