Jewish tradition teaches that on Shabbat we receive a neshamah yeterah—an “extra soul” that expands our capacity for joy, rest, connection, and holiness. Most months bring four Fridays, but whenever a calendar offers a fifth, we will gather to celebrate that “extra” abundance.
Join us on Friday, October 30 for our first Shabbat Kol Hanshama, a service filled with soul-stirring music. Cantor Green, along with musicians Tim Ribner, Ben Sandler, Chaim Wolin, and Arthur Steinhorn, will lead us in prayer and song to open our hearts and welcome Shabbat.
