Adult Hebrew and Adult B’nei Mitzvah Classes

We have two exciting options for adult learning beginning in the fall of 2023 at Congregation Beth Israel.

Adult B’nei Mitzvah with Cantor Ida Rae Cahana

Students who have completed our Adult Hebrew course and invited to join Cantor Cahana fur further study. We are currently finalizing a schedule for this class, which will culminate in a  B’nei Service for participants in the spring of 2024.

$180 for CBI Members, $360 for nonmembers

Adult Hebrew with Leona Mitchell

No prior knowledge is needed or expected for this Adult Hebrew class, which (for those who are interested) is the starting point for our two-year Adult B’nei Mitzvah course of study.  By the end of the year, you will be able to read basic Hebrew and also will have acquired an understanding of basic prayer words.
