Oneg! Youth Choir and Band

Oneg! Youth Choir and Band

Our Oneg! Choir and Band are made up of third through twelfth graders at Congregation Beth Israel and is led by Cantor Rayna Green and Music Teacher Jonathan Meek.

The Oneg! Choir leads engaging, energetic and joyous monthly Shabbat services at CBI designed for families but meaningful for all. They add ruach (spirit) to many of our holidays and events, including our Chanukah Family Celebration, Purim, and Mitzvah Day, as well as our monthly Oneg! Shabbat Services.

Oneg is Hebrew for joy or delight, and that is exactly what our Oneg! Choir and Band do; they bring joy to peoples’ lives.

Is your child  interested in making music with us? Please reach out to Cantor Rayna Green.

What is Oneg! Shabbat?

Oneg! Shabbat is CBI’s monthly Shabbat Service designed for families, but meaningful for all ages, and led by our youth choir and youth band, the Oneg! Singers and Oneg! Band.

Oneg! Shabbat starts at 6:00 PM, and is generally the second Friday of each month throughout the school year.
