Our Services

Worship at Congregation Beth Israel is inspirational, dynamic and in keeping with the ever-changing face of Reform Judaism. Most Shabbat services take place in Pollin Chapel in the Schnitzer Family Center, which affords an intimate setting for Friday evening and Saturday morning services led by the clergy.

Our services are led by our Senior Rabbi, Michael Z. Cahana, Senior Cantor, Ida Rae CahanaAssociate Rabbi, Rachel L. Joseph, and B’nei Mitzvah and Family Educator, Cantor Rayna Green

Holiday and most B’nei Mitzvah services acquire a dignified formality in the splendor of the main Temple. Superb organ and choir music adds to the beauty of worship in this historic sanctuary.

Although children are welcome at all services, the Tot Shabbat services held on the first and third Saturday of the month at 9:00 am and Family Shabbat services held on the second Friday of the month offer families with young children the chance to worship together in an informal and joyful setting.

Please see our events page for service times and locations.
